PRESS RELEASE – for immediate release (11 Jan 2018)
Green Christian would like to meet green Christians.
2018 is the year that Green Christian goes On the Road.
The national organisation Green Christian, formerly known as Christian Ecology Link, is running a series of FREE events aimed at introducing more people to its campaigns and resources.
The first On the Road Together event will be held in central London on February 3rd. It is open to all who are interested in finding out more about living in harmony with God’s creation and Green Christian’s insights and activities.
Participants will learn about the Green Christian Way of Life which combines spirituality, personal change and public witness within the encouragement of a Community. They can also find out about Green Christian’s Joy In Enough project and how economics, ecology and Christianity mix.
“There are many Christians out there who want to become more active in the environment movement, and know that caring for the world God gave us is part of their Christian mission.” said George Dow, Green Christian Trustee “By inviting them to this event we hope to show them what Green Christian can offer them in the way of resources and support, and how they can get more involved.”
The event on Saturday 3rd February will run from 11am to 4:30pm at St Aloysius Church, 20 Phoenix Road, London NW1 1TA. It is near to Euston Station.
This next sentence has been updated on 20 Jan since the original press release on 12 Jan: A second, similar “Green Christian On the Road Together” regional day will be held on 2 June in East Anglia, at a location still to be fixed. A third event is likely to be held in Derby in Autumn (not on 2 June as formerly stated in original press release)
Those interested in attending the London event should email firstname.lastname@example.org – booking is essential as numbers are limited. The event is free but donations will be welcome on the day.
