|9 Jan: Course last 6 full Mons till 13 Feb||Truro Cathedral||WINDOWS INTO ECOLOGY COURSE STARTS JANUARY 9TH 2017
‘Windows into Ecotheology’ will take place in the Pearson Room, at Truro Cathedral each Monday, for six weeks, from January 9th until February 13th 2017. The course will be offered over three sessions each Monday 10am-12noon, 2pm to 4pm and 7.30pm until 9.30pm and the fee for the whole course will be £12 per person . The course has been written by and will be taught by Revd Dr Lucy Larkin our local South West Ministry Training Course tutor
Lucy offers these words to describe the course to come:How are Christians to think about and respond theologically to contemporary global ecological ‘crises’ such as climate change and biodiversity loss? In this course we will explore amongst other things, the spiritual and moral dimensions to the crises, examine to what extent Christianity might be to ‘blame’ for the situation, plumb the depths of Biblical and theological resources to help us think imaginatively about the natural world and suggests things to do and ways we can ‘be’ in such times as this.
